i know its a left hooker but hey its half the price

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

Hardly a valid comparison, that one says "THIS CAR NEEDS A FULL RESTORATION ...PLEASE NOTE YOU WOULD HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON CAR NEEDS A FULL REBILD LOTS OF WELDING ETC"

If the seller in this case is to be believed, he's spent £43K restoring his so far.

I assume his reference to £100K would be after it's been brought to an as-new standard.

But I do find his refusal to allow viewings a little strange.

it doesnt look like its in "deep storage". looks like a farmyard barn to me. plus one of the photos shows it on grass so its been moved outside easy enough.

i suspect its a rotter and he doesnt want it to be under too much scruitiny?

No one would spend £25k on a car that they were not allowed to view - especially one needing considerable work.

I think it's equally likely he's paranoid about dubious types using a viewing to scope out whats worth pinching on a return visit. The listing is from **** smear in surrey, the spiritual home of the paranoid retired golfist.

It'll take a lot better photos than that to shift the car any price, let alone £25k. I also doubt very much it would be worth £100k when finished.

He's spent £43k on the car including £10k on paintwork, and can't be bothered to put a dust sheet over it?

If you look further down his history, he's already flogged the Hard Top seperately. Nice.

check Kienle for high prices
