106K, 7 owners, poverty spec. Nawh.
It's weird that people feel this way ....
Mine is on it's tenth owner ( me ) , i've had it for 5 years now , so that means that in the first 12 years of it's life it had 9 owners ..
Got 150k on it at the moment and is a 'almost' poverty spec model , no aircon but it does have leather .... less gizmos, means less to go wrong , the only thing that doesn't work on my car is the bulb behind the foglight switch , and thats only becaus i haven't got around to changing it
, theres not many 17 year old cars that everything works on ....
Does this mean mine is a bad car ? I don't think so , other than a few niggles , it's never let me down , i had the rear subframe done last year , but that was really the only 'big' expense i've had ...
I'm very satisfied with the car , could do with a bit more power , fair enough , but i don't think that the number of owners is any indication ...
I can see where you're coming from , if the car has changed hands often , this would seem to indicate that something is not right with the car and it is being sold on , once the problem has been discovered ?
As i said , mine had had 9 owners before me , so i should have run a mile, or at the least have got rid of it by now ? but i haven't and it hasn't let me down so far ....
I certainly wouldn't let number of owners put me off, or a lack of service history ( on a car my age ) , my car has minimal service history , i always work on the premise that you can get a feel for the car and the condition of it , by the way the owner seems ...
