Timing chain guide 190e 2.3 16v

Hi all ,

I’m new to this forum . I’m looking for the timing chain guides for my 190e 2.3 16v Cosworth. I cannot get my hands on good quality (steel) parts only plastic . If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

Hello and welcome , you mean a bit like this when you say 'not plastic' . The bit that the chain slides on is always some sort of plastic , this type is on a metal casting. not saying this is for your engine. Just trying to determine what you need .

Hi .

Thanks , I’ve just spoken to my mechanic. He is just looking for the original 2 guides for the 190e 16v 2.3 Cosworth. He said something before about steel but I picked him up wrong . So if anyone here has any info on where I can get original spec guides for the 2.3 16v that would be great .
