Top Service From AMG Tech Ltd in Leamington Spa

I bought a complete C43 AMG brake set up from AMG Tech and went down mid last week to get the lot fitted along with a few other small items, by his garage and have to say was more than impressed with the level of service I received from Victor and all the members of staff working there.

A really honest guy and he knows his stuff inside out, especially with the old generations mercs.

I took some pictures of his showroom & workshop and must say he had some interesting cars on show and in the workshop!

Will let the pics do the rest of the talking but would deffo recommend anyone considering getting any work done from the team.

Must say I do like the idea of E55 AMG seats in the office

Yes they can... AMG is a protected trading name..

There was a local garage here called AMG standing for All Marques Garage but it was clear that they were an MB/German specialist... they had to change it and now they are A.M.G.

Im not sure if they have got away with it!

anyway ive sent letter to mb uk and haven't received any negative reply.also i opened trade account with mb and there wasnt any problems too.

this isn't about the name,its about quality work and love to mercedes ,but if my company name is offensive in any way then i can always change it.

It's not about causing offence (how could it?) - it's more about trademark infringement.

I know of a garage who changed from using Merc due to MBs heavy handed tactics - but arguably this is of a clearer connection to Mercedes. If anything, the service his garage provides would be a credit to MB - so probably no surprise they didn't like that...

AMG, as you posted as did I, can mean anything although Jay's example is interesting.

I guess it is AMG on it's own and anything else with it might not be an issue.

should be ok,if any problems i let you know.
also i will put some more information about ours projects when we finished them.
ours projects for next year are:
190e with 3.0l m103.983 engine and 5 speed manual gearbox
190e with 3.6l m104 amg engine and 5 speed manual gearbox
w124 with 5.5l m113.980 amg engine and 5 speed tiptronic gearbox
w210 with 6.0l m120 engine and 5 speed gearbox

Is that Alpina for sale or just belonging to one of your customers?

Just curious what sort of value they hold...

I still have a soft spot for Alpinas since owning a 2001 B10 V8 in Japan Red a few years ago. Lovely car and fantastic seats.
