Hello
Does anyone know how to switch the stability control off, Switching the traction control off is obvious but I cant seem to get rid of the stability control.
I would like to get a proper feel of the car which is impossible to do with the computer doing my driving for me.

It's in the assist program via steering wheel controls. ESP....OK ESP ON /OFF OK.

Thank you for your reply I had some how managed to figure that out myself :-) That only seems to turn the traction control off on my car.
I can still feel the car braking on different wheels ect. to keep it in good shape.

Unless the car has a dyno mode you cannot switch all the driver aids off

Unless the car is like early model smarts where all the aids can be switched off by connecting two pins together in the OBD socket...
Google 'Trust-Plug' and if you decide to try it, be very careful as to the pins you connect. Connecting the wrong ones fries the ECU apparently.

Some earlier MBs you could switch the key to position 1, press the trip reset 3 times and turn key to start.
Display shows option of dyno mode which should you what you're looking for.

Your OP asks how to turn off the stability control.
The ESP....... Electronic Stability Program is turned off as described in my answer.

Thank you for your help.
@ Bellow don't fancy bricking my ECU.
@ Paddcomp will give that a try when I get chance.
@ Woodythewise sorry didn't intend to offend.

No offence taken. Sorry if I was a tad short.
