Travel advice

I have to travel up to Telford on Saturday from the south east. Could anyone offer advice on roads to avoid etc. its not a journey I make very often so any tips from regular travellers would be appreciated.

M11, A14, M6 then M54! Set cruise and kick back!

Is the M11 likely to be clearer than the M1 ?

Depends what you mean by "South East"....

I normally go up the M40 and loop round the M6 toll if things are looking sticky around Birmingham, (athough there is a ****e and indirect interchage onto the M54 if you do that, but possible to come off the M6 at J12 and use the A5 instead.)
