Not quite Voyages avec ma tante but

Back up to Scotland yesterday 543 miles at 43.9mpg which i think for a 3.2 diesel is quite good and best of all all on one tank of fuel.

I was able to visit Hadrians Wall and drive along the old military road that lies just to the south, must have been one of the loneliest places to be stationed in the Roman Empire with the locals keen on dispatching you.

When I stopped at Gretna services this rather delightful late model sl320 was in the car park, colour and condition were superb

Drove home yesterday and got 44.7mpg in 7.5 hours from Edinburgh, doing the same journey with the E240 required 4 fill ups against 2 this time.
