Hi all.
I have looked at a video of the location of the back pressure sensor on a 2013 c250 amg but when I look at my engine it looks different. Is there a way I can confirm my engine type as everything else I have looked at on videos seem to be OK.
Thank you
In advance

Put your full 17 digit Vin# without spaces into a decoder like below and you'll get all the info about your car you need including engine type code.

The engine type code is the first 3 digits of the engine number, which is on your V5 document. For your car this is likely to be '651', which means it has an OM651 engine (sometimes shortened to 'M651').

Thanks guys for both of your prompt replies. My engine is the om651 .
You don't happen to now where the exhaust back pressure sensor is located do you

I don't know, but I'd guess it would be just before the DPF (assuming it's DPF related). I've had the pressure sensor and both temperature sensors (there's one at the inlet end of the DPF and another at the outlet end) fail on my Vito!
