Thanks

Yes they need coding very straight forward though.

I have noticed you can buy pre coded ones on ebay. Cannot comment if they work or not.

My local tyre place were able to supply code and fit one for me for £50

I have the same.

I can clear the codes and it lasts a few days, so I need to bite the bullet.
Does it not need to be coded by Star or can any (half decent) garage or tyre 'place' replace and code?

Nah any tyre place aslong as they have the machine. My local one in a town of >10,000 people have one

Takes like 30 seconds. They have this handheld device that must work of an rfid or something.

Select mercedes, model, year then touch it up against the sensor and thats it set up to work with your car 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had the 'missing tyre pressure sensor, front offside' message pop up a couple of weeks ago. As the car (E220d) was booked for a service I decided to wait until it went in for it to be attended to.
Well, the service was done today by MB Norwich and they want £231 to fix it .

Are they taking the 'add blue ' ?
