Hi
Had new C250 since last September with 19" Alloy option.
Have started to note on full left and right hand locks significant amount of scrubbing of late with the car not being happy being pushed forward by the rear wheels.
Any one else had similar at all?

Find out the stock tyre size and post your tyre size and I will let you know.

Happens on all our cars - it is a result of wide summer-spec tyres and cold rubber. Quite normal. The 285 tyres on my Audi are unbelievably "crunchy" at the moment.

What is surprising is that it seems to me to be a recent phenomenon. I suspect that summer tyres aren't as flexible as they used to be.

Pretty much any RWD car (which has much more lock than a FWD) will scrub wide very low profile tyres on full lock. My E63 is just the same. As long as the wheels are of an approved size and offset, and with suitably sized tyres fitted, don't worry about it.
