Anyone replaced tyres with Pzero BMW spec? Same size and speed rate 255/35/19 96y any issues? Also if replacing with non run flats will the tyre pressure monitor still work?

Thanks

The tyre pressure monitor system (TPMS) relies on RF transmitters inside the tyre valves, as long as you transfer the original valves from the old tyres to the new tyres, the TPMS will continue to work as before.

P ZEROS belong in a wheely bin 😀
Couldn't agree more. Soon as MPS4S come back into stock which I believe is early June then the P Zero's are being ditched. It amazes me how many 285/30/19 especially in MO spec I see in ebay lol

So which brand you recommend? That doesnt hurt much the pocket.. also buy new or find a great pair on Ebay (no repairs of punctures)

Why would you even consider part worn tyre's (ebay)🤔

I have recently changed from p zero to the PZ4 MOE early days but seem quieter can’t comment on any crabbing as weather warmer but they do seem better don’t get any loss traction pulling quickly out of a junction for one.

What’s that site called? Also are those non run flat tyres? Will the TPMS still work?
Tyres have nothing to do with tpms . Yes they're all non run flats . Tyreleader.

Worthy to buy non run flats what’s the pros and cons?

I always buy what the car was fitted with - it came with run flats so I fit run flats. It does make the ride a little harsher than normal tyres, and being less flexible it makes the wheels more prone to pothole damage. But on the flip side I like the peace of mind I get knowing if I get a puncture somewhere remote or unsafe I can drive somewhere safe before I have to stop.

Mine cost just a few pounds more than non RFT.
You can buy non run flats for alot less though .

Maybe, my point is though for exactly the same tyre the RFT's I bought were not a lot more expensive than the non-RFT version, I think it was about £12 a tyre - and when you consider the tyres cost £225 each that's a small percentage.

I'm terribly sorry here and I'm not insinuating anything yet please do not scrimp on tyres. They are the only point of contact between the car and the road. Cheap tyres under perform, even high end tyres lose their ability as they wear out. I've never seen the point of budget/cheap tyres on any car let alone one with half decent power. My personal choice is Michelin Pilot Sport 4 or Pilot Sport 4S, then onto Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5's.

Hi , on my C207E400 in desperation I fitted the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym 5 and to date have been really pleased with the tyres. The car from new came with Conti 5P that had a very short life in the I had two recent sets fail.

I am confident you will pleased with these tyres.

Tyreleader must have the worst customer service ever, when they get it wrong, and they do quite often, they have no phone number or anyone to talk to. You open an email ticket and they will get back to you when not busy if at all. They appear to be registered in Andorra and I suspect they are nothing more than an office with two or three people manning it who have contracts with various tyre depots around Europe. Best avoided if you want to stay sane!
