Tyres question C class MY 2

Tyreleader must have the worst customer service ever, when they get it wrong, and they do quite often, they have no phone number or anyone to talk to. You open an email ticket and they will get back to you when not busy if at all. They appear to be registered in Andorra and I suspect they are nothing more than an office with two or three people manning it who have contracts with various tyre depots around Europe. Best avoided if you want to stay sane!
You said that the last time 😂😂

I could have went into more detail, you would not believe how obstructive they are when they are 100% responsible for the problem, but they have your money so you can just wait for them to fling you a few crumbs when they are ready.

I'm terribly sorry here and I'm not insinuating anything yet please do not scrimp on tyres. They are the only point of contact between the car and the road. Cheap tyres under perform, even high end tyres lose their ability as they wear out. I've never seen the point of budget/cheap tyres on any car let alone one with half decent power. My personal choice is Michelin Pilot Sport 4 or Pilot Sport 4S, then onto Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5's.

Agreed, but none of the tyre makes mentioned so far in this thread are "budget/cheap tyres'? They are all respectable brands. There's still a lot to choose from, hence the discussion.

Hey Mark, completely agree my post was in reflection to the OP post re costs not hurting the pocket or buying a used set off ebay. Most used tyres on ebay are either of breakers and possible accident vehicles, have been repaired or are around the 5mm depth or below. Just my view yet a tyre starts to lose it's efficiency, grip etc and by 3mm albeit the legal limit is lower by this point the tyres on a performance car in my opinion should be replaced. All my point is yes we can save a few quid short term yet long term in my book it's false economy

Not trying to save anything just trying to get some advice in what to do.. if they are the Michelin pilot 4s then let them be.. as far is not more than £250 per corner should be ok
