UHI and sony K700i

hi all i have a 2004 e211 with uhi have been using a k700i with the cradle and having real problems, the dealer has swapped the phone unit, linguatroic unit to cure problems with the phone locking up / being unable to answer in coming calls.

the phone has been unbranded from orange, has the latest firmware still same, i have even used another 700i and get the same problem

anybody using the same phone? or do you have any issues?

Yup I am using this phone but with the older comand. I have had no problems whatsoever.

hi VBD having done a bit more digging, it seems the K700 is very buggy and well known to have issues see here

maybe it only affects new comand with most and uhi kits, now looking for the dealer to swap the cradle foc

anybody know if / when the v635 will be supported?

hi all update to this issue, dealer has swapped the cradle for a nokia 6230 one for free, there is a confimrned issue with e211 comand and the k700i, they recommend a specifc level of software, mine is later but still has the problem

they will report back to mercedes to see if they can get a fix, the 6230 works very well

it works in new clk, but they have a diffrent comand
