UK E36 AMG - Should it have a specific owner's guide?

deleted as the ones I have are from a C36, apologies folks

I've read somewhere that the C and E36 were the first full collaborations too, maybe on the AMG website.

Out of interest, I'd quite like to see a caravan being towed at 150 or more by an AMG, just not mine :D

The C36 manual I have is called 'C 36 AMG Additional Instructions' and the numbers on the back are 202 584 27 96 Bestell-Nr. 6515 6023 36

No idea if this will be of any use, but I hope so.

Thanks for that - yes I am sure the AMG history section describes the C36 as the first "in house" AMG car from MB available through dealers.

The fact that I actually have the original (£59,000!) UK MB Dealership invoice for an "E36 Estate" kinda also gives the game away... I guess??:o

The car is at a friends place at the moment, Ill get you the part number for the w124 e36 booklet. Although Im not sure if they will sitll sell it.

OK thanks - see what you can try ;-) Even the part code would be good.

I always thought the instructions for AMG cars were

Left pedal stop. Right pedal go. Hold tight to the big wheel thing in front of you.

Thats for the CDI's :D

Re someone to look after it....where in the country do you live....nice motor by the way!.

If anybody wants to acquire another one of the twelve then contact me....a guy in the same town to me has one of the twelve and is prepared to sell his and I can pass your details on.

Needs a bit of work as the gearbox is slipping, but it still goes like stink when you put your foot down.

Car is silver with black leather.

I'm in Saffron Walden, Essex - J10 of M11. I drive to Chelmsford every day, so anywhere in the reasonable radius of Cambridge/Essex would be ok. (I have decided not to send it to C&V cars in Swavesey - long story..)

I think you also told me about the Silver AMG car awhile back on the "offcial MB forum" site?

No - I cannot have two of them... no... oh... can i?

Wasn't it the W210 E36 that was the first, along with the C36?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your W124 E36 would have been when they were still separate.

Nope - I'm sure of it - C36 and E36 (124)... I have it on good authority from the MB-club AMG "captain" ! oh sir. :p

That's bizarre, I live there too....

Nowhere near me, so can't help on this one

With this one new at £59,755.01- intresting to know which was the most expensive of each of E36s purchased new -any at 60k plus ? .Recall a member here with a E36 Cab at 65k new

haha well yes but do you take into account the fact that the coop was more expensive than the estate in basic form?! Ponder on!...

i was litterally minuets away from buying a 1996 N azurite blue 86,000 miles E36 coupe in 2005

a dealer near a race course had one for weeks and by the time id got the money together he sold it and i cried

still after one if i can shift the twin turbo (even rarer but seemingly people hate the turbo technics coupe)
