I dropped off the car here this morning http://www.theultimateshine.com/ for paint correction and wax, The car really needs a respray but I can’t afford it right now so this is the next best option.

I'm due to pick it up next Saturday and will post some pictures then.

OK, I picked up the car on Saturday afternoon, see the results below. But first I will describe the problems, the cars paperwork tells me that the car has changed hands alot over the last 15 years, looks like no one held on to it for long and no one looked after it properly, there were many stone chips, deep scratches, medium scratches, light scratches and bad swirls and cleaning marks. The car has also been resprayed in the past but the prep before repainting was bad as I can see defects and rotary sander marks beneath the respray. The bonnet looked like it had been cleaned with a scotch pad!

So all in all a tough call to be corrected.

Having said all that I am totally amazed by what Paul has been able to do, nothing short of amazing, all done for a great price too.

Sorry there are no before pictures, I'm an idiot for not taking some good close ups but I hope the above description give the correct pre correction condition. The deep scratches (right through to clear coat) are still there and visible but pretty much everything else has gone. Then there is the brightwork, I did not know he would be able to make it, well, bright again.
