upgrade my bulbs

hi all.. i have a 08 w204 sport.. am looking to upgrade my bulbs, headlights, sidelights etc.. preferably around nothwest england.. all help appreciated...

If you're wanting to change the bulbs for appearance purposes then by all means go ahead, but...

I do many miles on unlit country roads at night during the winter months and when I had my W204 I really wanted to improve the performance of the headlamps, so I put in a set of Philips Xtreme Power bulbs in both dip and main beam. While there was a very minor improvement in main beam performance, it made absolutely zero difference to what I could see with the lamps on dipped beam. To cap it all, I found that the dip beam bulbs failed after about 12 months, compared with two years and still working for the OEM bulbs. Bearing in mind the price, I'd say they're a waste of money on the W204

The only worthwhile upgrade to dipped beam is HID. How you go about this is up to you but it makes the biggest difference.

Ive got these NEW Philips X-treme Vision H7 from Power Bulbs | Free Worldwide Delivery

They are really pretty good and give a nice long throw. No complaints from me.

Obviously they arent as good as OEM xenons , but they arent as expensive

As an addition it is worthwhile checking out Amazon once you have decided which bulbs you want. I found them significantly cheaper
