used engines??

Any one got any good ideas where to locate a Used good toyota Yaris 1.0 engine. My grand daughter has forgotten to use something called oil...

I'd look around the breakers for as new and low mileage an accident damaged one as I could find , and ask the breaker for some sort of guarantee - most will exchange or refund a dud engine , but will either mark the engine they sell you or note the engine number so you don't pull a fast one .

Some larger breakers might even fit the engine for you !

get it rebuilt will possibly be cheaper and you know what you've got if you use a reputable builder, we do loads of them with pistons the size of thimbles not many of them go past 100k without failing.

Theres a specialist Toyota breaker we use in East London for Toyota engines and another specialist jap breaker in Durham, they will have one for sure you going to be looking £350 -£500 for a good one.

Theres also a couple on a well known auction site at the moment including a very low mileage one I searched "toyota yaris engine"

Theres a specialist Toyota breaker we use in East London for Toyota engines and another specialist jap breaker in Durham, they will have one for sure you going to be looking £350 -£500 for a good one.

There's also a specialist Jap breaker in Glasgow , but the ones further South will probably be handier for Crockers .

Thanks guys - these are two pin cam sensors - hers is three pins.. Trying to work out if its economic to repair or scrap it.
