Using Microsft Edge

Win7 was and still is a great OS but I guess nothing lasts forever (xp for instance:D)

10 is a big change from 7 and unless you have used 8.1 for a while takes some finding your way around. After 10 weeks of it I can say I do like it, but it was released too early. There are still bugs being ironed out with updates and I can't see it being liked as an OS for business in the same way 8 and 8.1 never were.

I went for it too early but now most of the annoying glitches appear to be overcome I like it.

XP lives on on my trusty old Dell Latitude D630 which I use if I have to configure any devices (like firewalls etc.).

The problem is, with coming up to 4 years left of 7, I don't think businesses have a choice unless you change for Mac or Linux.

Getting on to 10 should help me get ahead of the curve like 7 did last time as I bought that when it came out. Actually I pre-ordered the upgrade but Microsoft dropped upgrades so I got the full version for £40!

I will not be upgrading any workstations to w10 for at least 12 months. Right now pre sp1 is way too soon for corporate's.

We need the rest of the world to catch up with the tech before it can be adopted as a standard.

Yes, we're doing the same thing here!
