Just come back from the airport in a 4 year old e280 with 300k. Driver said only time it ever broke was a warranty replaced turbo at 50k. It was in great nick too.
very very good engines, seen them with over 200K on the clock...
The only thing that seems to go is the inlet port shut off motor... we have done a few and they are not the easiest of jobs unless you have fingers the size of pencils.
