valeo issues on a merc registered in 05?

Hi all

I have introduced myself in the itro section already

I have been looking for my first merc and have sourced a what seems to be a nice condition 05 plate c270 cdi saloon. Its done 69000 miles with 2 owners and full merc service history.
This car has a valeo rad, which makes me cautious because of the early issues with them.
The car i believe is a facelift, should the valeo leaking into the transmission oil problem not affect this model for that year?

They do not suffer in 2005 cars. If you are worried just change the radiator.

i have read that the c270 was not affected at all as it was configured differently. is that correct?
