Very Classy Car.

I'm not sure its UK specification. I thought those double round headlights were a US spec thing?

Our neighbour had one from new, well a 280SE 3.5 version and that had stacked lights. That was a lovely car too, in a navy with alloys & leather.

For a £25k classic car the details in the listing are sparse to say the least.

Sounds very Foxrock?

And the fact it's being sold by a Bradford based motor dealer with 1 ebay transaction to his name,100% feed back though:D

Beautiful - but who put a 6.3 badge on it when it isn't?

The same person who lost the service history ?

His list of other cars for sale is quite unbelievable and yet his one and only piece of feedback is from a cut-price designer clothes outlet !!

I smell a rat.

Oh God, no. Anyway, there's a shortage of Dubs there! ;) Mind, I scored a minter, low mileage 190E 2.6 auto for pennies from there (courtesy of Issac Agnew M-B, Belfast) so I won't complain about Foxrock.

The address, and the photos are at Kahn Design.

A Kahn Design | The world's leading automotive fashion house | Car Conversions | Alloy Wheels | Car Parts

The cars on Ebay are listed in the web site. So, probably legit.

Some of the guys I went to school with were from Foxrock...their dads had Mercs like the one for sale...a very expensive car back in the day.

Yes, indeed very expensive. My gran uncle ran a fintail from new but on U.K. plates and got away with it thanks to having a U.K. office address, otherwise I'd imagine he would have going around in a big Opel. Actually that 280/3.5 I mentioned was the only one I knew of (headlights gave them away), most were 280S's & SE's. Otherwise, it was the popular W114 & 5's which were assembled in Dublin.

Blackrock College has a lot to answer for! ;)
