Just arrived on holiday at the coast, Viano proved incredibly useful lugging the following to the holiday home:
Family of 5, two adults, two teenagers (both taller than the associated adults), and a ten year old.
Five medium sized suitcases, two large holdalls, a 16L coolbox, two office sized boxes of food, three large Sports Direct bags of newspapers/phone chargers/DVDs/bags of fruit, three sets of single bed sheets, a superking set of bed sheets, five full sized bathtowels and a bag of tea towels. Coats and shoes too.
Also, for good measure, a 27.5in iMac (in its box), a WiiU, a folding wheelchair and an office chair.
In the passenger bit, apart from the aforementioned passengers, I loaded a Nespresso machine (not set up to work in the car sadly), a man bag (ho ho) and the kids iPads and laptops. Blankets and school bags including Art GCSE coursework brought by the kids.
Viano took the lot with room to spare (two empty seats) and seemed indifferent to the load when asked to accelerate - noted a few high siders being tossed about by the wind on the A64, although we weren't!
Stopped for a coffee, outside temperature at the Highwayman cafe was 5.5C, so popped the Rest function on - car was toasty and warm when got back in.
Have managed to get a remote control unit for the auxiliary heating (from EuroMerc - I had no problems here and got an incredible bargain vs cost from MB) so will be stoking up the heating shortly from the comfort of my living room before heading off for a Chinese tonight!
Happy days
