Do you guys have a strange small vibration from your gearbox too sometimes?
So, when I’m cruising, motorway or country side roads, and I slow down by letting the gas pedal off NOT braking, and the gear remains higher that what it should, so basically the gear is higher for the speed I’m doing.
If I decide to press the gas pedal again , until it downshifts, at around 900-1000rpm only, just before it downshifts, for a split second I feel this vibration coming from under the car in the middle which I strongly believe is the gearbox.
No codes, no harsh shifting, no weird behaviour. Just a vibration on low rpm when the gear is higher than what it should , until it downshifts.
Gearbox has been serviced.
It always did this vibration, since I bought it. Just lately I haven’t been driving the car aggressively and I think the gearbox has been adjusted to slow driving and that’s why maybe I feel it more now?
Only when the gear is higher than what it should, it’s something that you feel even in manual cars if you leave higher gear that what you should and try to accelerate. It struggles and it kinda vibrates. That’s what I feel. And I was wondering if anyone else has the same issue?
Any opinions? Thank you!
