i'm having issues with a mb-2. i have paired up, and transfered all the numbers ect. but making calls. the speaker volume is very poor. even though the person i am ringing says their end is fine.

had a search and even on the viseeo website it mentions up dating the bluetooth.

i've filled in about 4 forms on the website. but non seem to direct me in the way of getting a login and password... and without those you can't download the required updates.

anybody got any idea how to get around this. wouldn't have minded sorting it today???

Regards
Dave

(i don't really see a problem posting this here but if it is i will gladly remove it.)

further problems

anyone come across this???

when it comes to insatalling the bluetooth update i get to 12% and get the following message
'the upgrade operation was stopped while attempting to prepare the Blue Core module for the firmware upgrade.
no upload or download of firmware has been performed. the exisitng firmware is unchanged.
how ever it may be necessary to reset the module before it can be used again'

i'v reset it several times without any joy..... mmmm annoying:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

You got further than I did. I get a message that says my PC can't see the BTcore module. That is before it does anything.

Has anybody ever managed to upgrade their firmware?

On the I-phone I downloaded the free volume amp app. That seemed to make some difference but it is still not great. Also on every call I have to crank up the volume again from the steering wheel.

i installed the drivers for the cpu upgrade. and my compter found the hardware straight away... (its with the platform downloads i think)

i have noticed that you can't use Mac's or windows 7 to update. if that is causing your issues.

I also downloaded the drivers and then the CPU and bluetooth upgrades. I am using XP. Can I ask which COM port you set the PC to?

i only had one spare between 1-8. which was number 2
don't know if changing that will make a difference. as that is for the CPU upgrade.

did you install the drivers.
i did initially thinking it was the platform program. ???

Yup. Installed drivers and the program. I also checked that the TRIAMP files are there, and they are.

It fires up from the GUI then nothing. Also when I plug in the MB2 it does not always see it as being there?

OK

I have re-loaded the drivers from the viseeo web site. I have checked that they are in the TRIAMP driver directory.

I plugged the viseeo into the usb port and held button one till I got the pairing light flashing and the PC said "new hardware found". It then copied some files and said finish.

I then fire up the viseeo upgrade platform and start the bluetooth gui. Where it says Device Name is blank. I hit search and get: NO USB Bluetooth Core modules could be found connected to your computer; the device may be in use by other software.

If I look in my computer it shows no device is attached.

Strange.

i've sent a question off to viseeo regarding my issue...

have you tried it on another computer at all in case that is the problem.

i'm gonna try another computer hopefully tomorrow. but will have to dig one of the old work computers out to try it... pity it doesn't work with windows 7. as ive got numerous computers to try it on then. might give it a bash anyway.... see what happens.

The company you got it off should offer updates. Otherwise Comand Online can do it for you.
