Vito 109 2006 Limp Mode

I've been trawling through threads, but not found anything quite like this

I recently started the vehicle and limp mode activated, after a mile it cleared.

A week goes by, van running fine when parked up, when I start a few hours later, limp mode is activated, after a mile and a few on/off moments, it clears and ok again.

The last few days, it tries to clear after a mile, but only does for a few seconds, then limp, then off, then limp, like a loose connection (I can't find).

Today, limp all the time, aside from when I go over a humped bridge or large speed bump at speed, it goes off for a while, and then comes back.

Ideas?

Check the wiring loom on the engine. They rub through.

In the end it was a loose plug to one injector, job done now.
