Need some help on this.
For a while I have been told by diesel mechanics that my Vito has a knakered injector. So I finally got round to taking the van off the road, removed them and got them tested. They are all in good shape apparently, which is great, but it means I still have this terrible sounding van.
One problem the van has is the lack of power when pulling away, unless you give it a good amount of revs it just moves at tortoise pace and usually tries to stall.
The van runs great when it gets going and also when the turbo kicks in.
I am going to change the fuel filter, disconnect the air filter to see if that helps. Anything else I can check that it is likely to be?
Someone suggested the EGR valve, but my van hasn't got one.
