Hello. I have an annoying problem where the passenger door bowden cable intermittently falls off the part of the handle inside the door, meaning you can’t close the passenger door.
Does anybody know what the part is called in the attached photo? It seems that it can no longer hold the cable tight enough to stop it popping off. I’ve tried turning it around (it has three options for holding the cable) but the door has been taken apart so many times now for door lock fixing and electric windows that the part has worn out. Hoping I can replace that white bit rather than the whole caboodle 🤞

I don't think I have a spare one of those in my Vito parts stash, or I would have happily given it to you.
Fwiw I have removed them from both my doors, and subsequently replaced them, without ever having had an issue.
How about (as a permanent but straightforward fix/patch) simply cliping the cable in place as you have been doing, but then looping a small cable tie around & over the cable.? - That shouldn't cause any issue with it's operation, but simply prevent the cable from being unclipped without the cable tie being removed.
Job done, no purchase or wait for component order required.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I may end up doing something like that, was ideally hoping to do a “proper” fix with a replacement part - do you have any idea what the part is called? It’s proving difficult to find via google!

Doesn't the cable sleeve clip in a bit further back? Preventing the cable and sleeve from rising. If that clip is bust the cable tie should work.

Yes it does, you can see in the photo where it clips in to the right of the white clip. This doesn’t prevent the cable from popping out of the white clip though sadly
