Hi.

I am new to the forum and looking a wee bit of help.

I have a 2001 Vito 110 and the passenger side rear sliding door has a gap at the top and rain is coming into the van. I loosened the bolts on the bar holding the door at the bottom and pulled the door in at the bottom and tightened the bolt. it made a wee bit of a difference but there is still a small gap and the water is still coming in. If you pull the bar at the top (holding the door on in the guide at the top) in towards the inside of the van the door moves inwards at the top and seals properly but when I let go the door moves back

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

How do I adjust it at the top?

I had this once or twice. At the top and bottom on the B pillar there are two cups, made of black plastic. On the side door in the same place there are two locating lugs which go into the cups as the door closes. If the top is out, either the cup is broken or it is loose. You can adjust the cup and also the lug on the door. Check them first before you do anything else. They need to be adjusted so that they are more inwards rather than outward.
