Vito w638 front l/h seatbelt removal..please help!

Hello, I am trying to remove the front left seatbelt in the B pillar on my 2002 vito, i believe the pre tensioner has set off as the belt is solid and wont extend or retract. but i am struggling to remove the reel assembly. as far as i can see it has one bolt at the bottom and should slide up off the upper tand holding the top. but i dont think it likes me.. any help would be grteat, cheers. phil

That is the way it should come off. Certainly with the 639, undo the screw at the bottom and it should pull up and out.
