hi all - 155 k miles e class estate - had all the lines changed when suspension dropped on both sides due to split pipes . thought it had solved issue ( didn't feel right) then 7 days later same issue . garage initially double-checked and couldn't find any leaks - wanted to change valve block at nearly £ 600 . asked them to check compressor first ( as apparently this has a one way valve which can leak ?) after 2 days in garage said they didn't have diagnostics to be able to do this . then said they if they put a new compressor on it it would have to go to main dealer to be coded in to the car- sounds like they didn't want to actually do it !
any help appreciated !!!

Take the car to a Mercedes specialist. They have the diagnostics to check the compressor and valve block to find the issue. A new compressor doesn't need coding to the car. It's recommended to put in a new relay for the pump at the same time if you replace the compressor.
