Decided I dont have dont have time for it anby more - too many projects
1 x 280CE 1972, tax exempt. manual gearbox, with spare engine with auto box. All auto parts salvaged. Polished cam cover, several parts removed, bead blasted and re-painted. Black MBtex interior (removed). Dry stored. two full sets of chrome trim, two front bumpers (twin, not single types) most glass doubled up, early type quater glasses installed and working, with good seals. rust patches ALL fixed / welded / rustproofed and sealed. 1 'new' door from californian rust free car intalled, one as a spare. 1 spare wing (with dent). spare interior fan, working (rare item). spare headlights. spare wheels (alloy and steel). spare steeringbox. original heated rear screen with invisible heating wires (rare)
Needs:-
Repainting as several parts are different colours.
glass installing
sunroof installing again, as was removed and given to mercman in soton to find a replacement (the runner wheels were rusted) - Im still waiting....
cylinder 3 fixing - it oils up the plug, hence the spare engine, which I know is a good runner.
probably a few bits and pieces un sizeing. Brakes are NOT siezed - I pushed it into the garage by myself, up hill

I bought the car as a runner, and drove it home, no problems at all, except the oiling up thing above.
