W123 Convertible

Hello to fellow members,I am new to the club but have owned Mercedes for quite a while now namely W123 Coupes at present I have three and I have the thoughts of making one into a convertible similar to the Crayford of old using the hood and frame from a R107 together with all the chasis strengtheners I need.
Any comments anyone

have seen w123 cab in germany i do not remember which company that have done the job

Never seen one in real life, but I recall a 123 convertible on an episode of Bergerac. I do not have the technical knowledge to comment on how feasible it is, but I really like the idea. Always thought MB missed a trick by not doing that.
