I like the color, I wonder if he fancys a px with the ML....
Not sure, I guess hes a garage so he might be intrested, this 500E has 7 owners by the way....

I think I met the guy selling this car earlier this year in the car park at the NEC Classic Car show.

I was admiring an immaculate low mileage 500E when this guy also came up to have a look.

He mentioned that he had a 500E with 290'000 km's on the clock and lived in Cornwall. We started talking 500E's and he mentioned that his still went like a train and had been very well looked after and that he had never had any problems with it....nice guy who likes the 500E with a passion.

Looks pretty good, but makes my Twin Turbo 300E that I'm selling look under priced and mines in better condition with a service history to die for.....and its faster and right hand drive!

You would be surprised....my twin turbo still does @ 28mpg on a motorway run, which is way better than the 18mpg I used to get out of my 500E on the same type of journey.

I suppose its down to the fact that the turbos are not really working that hard at 80-90 constant speeds as the revs @ 3500....the turbo's don't really kick in big time until you go past 4000.

Again another reason why people should buy my twin turbo 300E rather than a 500E:D

lol...Nice one...28MPG is great, Looks like a beautiful 300E. Yeah my 500E also gave around 18MPG, no matter how you drive the 500 it will drink and drink fuel, although i've gotta say it was worth it (thinking back to those 150mph runs!!)

if im not mistaken its on autotrader and ebay and the price has been reduced aswell.

It dont sound like a V8 though! we could do you a deal on the ML just give us a ring cheerts Linds

Ask Nigel to take the exhaust off, then you'll get the V8 sound!!

Hmmm......when I had my 500E the only thing that slightly disapointed me was the fact that you never got the full V8 treatment...ie the engine was always very muted.

On the other hand you do get a nice straight six howl out of the twin turbo and the sound of the wastegates opening and closing, albeit not in the same league as the Nissan Skyline boys....thank goodness:p
