This are very rare and i think Dillan(The Boss) was after one Hardtop für Mercedes W124 Cabrio // eine Rarität bei eBay.de: Hardtops (endet 22.06.10 09:19:29 MESZ)

Its the one made by Germar. [ not quite so good as the Wiesmann one?] According blurb it has a mark on the roof which cannot be polished out--also delivery by personal pick up only. Still they are rare as hen's teeth.

Don't know hence the question mark. Comment derived from various posts on various forums so purely anecdotal. I speculate it will refer to the quality of interior trim / finish/ seals rather than the shell itself, altho I suppose the quality of the fibre-glass lay up and gell coat might be different also. You would probably have to see them side by side to judge and since they are a hand built unit there may be greater inter-unit variability than between brands

Yes that's what I read too. I like the exterior lines of the Germar over the other one though. Closer to the Coupe line and IMHO the Coupe often looks better than the Cabriolet - There, I've said it!!

1710 Euros!...I must say its the cheapest ones iv seen on eBay.de. Could something to do with the fact that its a Germar made item, who are abit of a unknown quantity when it comes to the constructions of hardtops as opposed to Weismann who are/were quite well known for making them ?....

But even still, once you've factored in transporting it back to these shores and then colour-coding it to your car, you are looking at well over 2K.... Pricey.
