w124 coupe Sigma Alarm fob replacement

My Sigma Alarm Fobs are getting tired and need replacing. Has anyone gone about getting replacement fobs? It seems confusing as Merc Main dealers fitted the alarms themselves when they sold these cars back in the early 90's and there wasnt a std Mercedes system factory installation. Has anyone been down this road before with advice?
