W124 E320 AMG kitted cabrio

Damn that's nice.

Probably not with that mileage - non-original wheels and missing service history.

Those wheels look older than the car.... and anybody notice the aftermarket strutbrace?

I think a strut brace is a good mod on any car an old cabrio even more so i would have thought.....Might see if i can get one for my CLK.

Tony.

It hasnt got a heritage grill either ;)

Actually I like it and I also like the wheels but £25k is big money.

No mushroom colour interior.

12k. ;)

Jeez........would that 230mph/370kph top speed be correct?

I`m sure this car has has been discussed before. Not sure if I`m correct but it had some vinyl stickers or something on the wing at the time

First time I've seen it Dash and it looks to be an absolute cracker. Probably the foruth best I've seen.

If it's the car I think it is, then one thing it isn't is nice.

service history is shown on the ad and stated as being full, have they updated the ad since your post?

For that kind of price you'd want the loom and head gasket done

I think I have seen this car before and AIRC it had an odd AMG transfer on the wing as Dash states. It was in a sorry state but since that time it has clearly been reconditioned. The engine bay shot shows the car has had the whole front end recently resprayed IMHO which would fit in with the stickers been removed as the front wings were rotten when advertised previously.
Nice colour azurite blue but it goes much better with the cream leather upholstery. The grey leather upholstery is probably the worst of the MB leather upholstery as the grey plastic bits always look cheap and the grey leather itself is cheap looking.
As for the price well they are clearly taking the p??s - car is worth £12-14k max.

oddly for a 96, it would suggest that the exit manifolds might be cast iron as opposed to SS? It looks like its got that cover on it.

My E320 cab is a May 96 production and it has cast iron exhaust manifold with the same stainless steel heat shield cover. The parts are all original as i have had it since it was new.

interesting that, what do you think the decision by MB to use either or on the 320's was?
