W124 E320 cruise control

Hi there, I have a 1994 E320 coupe and the cruise control seems to waver slightly at 60 and 70 mph, it levels out at just one mph above or below, can anyone tell me if there is a solution to this. Thanks Grant

Maybe a safety feature to let you know not to set it to the exact speed limit, either under or over but not on it...??
