Hey guys, this part is heavily corroded so i think i should change it.. i have no idea what its called.. its sitting right by the water pump.. i tried describing it over the phone to the dealership they said 315$ i think they said its something to do with a heater or something? but i'm trying to find it cheaper online so thanks mates

not much chance without a photo.. not sure how they would identify it either :D

this is not meant to be funny but

a) does it still work? you say it looks heavily corroded but not whether it works or not??

b) that corrosion looks mostly to be escaped coolant. Why not clean it off as best you can and pay a bit of attention to the wiring connectors/joints. they might have the coolant salts all over them and inhibiting/stopping the part from working. Got to be worth 15 minutes effort of any ones time. Looking at the picture you have highlighted there seems to be a few nuts about an inch in from the rhd edge. is that a gasket I can see as well? Has it failed at some point (hence all the coolant around it?) and is it something you could open up and replace - even with a home made gasket if necessary??

good luck whatever you decide to do

yeah thats a gasket, but the manifold is actually leaking.. i have coolant everywhere as the coolant pipe blew up :/ but thanks
