Hi guys.

I need to order some front wing spacers for my 300ce. Does anyone have the correct part number?

Scott

It seems the only way to buy from MB is to order the kit for the 201. If no one else shows up with the number I will dig it out for you - or you can hunt around in the previous posts as it is there somewhere.

havnt got time to hunt it out now but the part number is mentioned in developer's silver 124 estate restoration thread :thumb:

You don't really need a special kit; just some longer bolts and some plastic spacers...

Just spoke with weirs in grangemouth. Unsurprisingly the part is no longer produced and my chap suggested I make my own with simply longer bolts!

On an unrealted topic, I need new front disks and pads... £150 from mercedes but does anyone recommend anything else?

Scott

Thanks guys.

I have ordered a couple of different sizes of the spacers to see how I get on. Just need the longer screws now.... Any ideas?

Re the brakes. I'm happy to go with genuine items as money isn't a big concern at a couple hundred quid...I'm just wondering if there is any better / improved option anyone with a w124 can recommend.

A local fixings and fastenings supplier. They are regular coach-screws.

Wounderful. I have ordered some bits of ebay so will see how I get on with those.. failing that I will go for these!

Cheers, scott
