617 300D engine from a 123 is the same (in non turbos).

Easy enough conversion, although a 300SE/SEL might be better MPG wise than a 300SD as the old diesels aren't much good.

A 603 from a 124 might be a better bet.

Hi there, do you know when the first 126 diesel became available in the uk? Looking for a classic (30 years here in Ireland) otherwise I'll get hammered on import tax, road tax and insurance. Thanks!

I thought 300 350 SD were only LHD?

You'll have to check if the Turbo will fit in the RHD engine bay - I think!?

finished today so a nice start to the new year

Dont be silly, if you want better economy then LPG it.

Did you ever get a diesel into your SEC?

I've had a lot of 560's and 600's - I've a couple of 300 Turbo OM617's at the moment and would be interested. I've run a couple of LPG's but much prefer the TD.

It's not always a question of economy. The TD feels better than LPG to me.
