W126 - front wings

Hi, the wings on my W126 are getting quite rust now and I think I need to replace them. I gather a lot of the aftermarket parts don't tend to fit very well, is that correct? I'm I going to have to buy wings from the MB dealer or are there any other options?

I have replaced front wings on a 560SEL & a 500SE. The former had replacements from Eurocarparts and for the latter I had them ordered from MB Guildford. A friend of a friend did the 560's and I watched him do them on a Saturday morning and they were fine. The 500SE had its new wings done by Tielyn motors in Wandsworth SW18 and they were fine too. I would say that the standard of work depends on the skill of the fitter and it is this aspect of replacement that you should focus on. Good luck with your 300SE, I myself am on the lookout for another 560SEL.
