I recently "knocked" the door mirror on my 2006 W169 and it no longer engages the retracting motor. Does anyone know how to remove the glass without breaking it so that I can see if I can repair whatever damage is done. Just been quoted €236 plus tax plus labour for a new mirror so any advice gratefully received. Regards, Jeff.
