W176 A200 CDI P13C2 code..

Afternoon,

All of a sudden my reliable A200 is throwing a couple codes.

My 2014 A200 CDI had thrown up a P2454 fault, changed the DPF pressure sensor (or exhaust pressure sensor depending on where you read) which has turned off the EML and the code cleared.

However, today I got a P13c2 Exhaust Flaps Malfunction show.

Can anybody here shed some light on it please?

Exhaust flap is in the back end of the exhaust pipe, it controls exhaust back pressure, when actuator for the flap fails it puts car in limp mode

Do you know if it’s as simple as replacing the actuator itself or is it usually an internal flap stuck issue?

Can be either or, I'd suggest actuating it via diagnostic machine and see it it moves, if it does then possible the connecting rod for the mechanical flap is broken that's between actuator and the flap
