W202 Bumper

Hi,

I am about to install a retrofit parking sensor next week and I was told that Merc bumper has pre set holes in the bumper front and back for parktronic. Does that apply for the W202 (yr 2000) as well ? I am nervous on drilling on the bumper. Can someone confirm this ?

Yes there are pre set holes they are in the mould of the bumper skin but you can't see where the holes can be drilled without taking the bumper and iron off

Thank you for this excelent information. I also bought a set of parking sensors on eBay and I'm planning to install them on my W202 Station.

Do you know the diameter of the holes prepared on the rear bumper?
