W202 Driver seat "clunking"

Recently the drivers seat in my 99 W202 with the cloth interior started to "clunk" upon acceleration and the g-force acting upon it. I tried tightening the bolts on it (will try again) and still nothing...clunks and you feel it when it does. Its becoming annoying.

Anyone have this problem?

This is a common problem. In the USA they were fixed under warranty, in the UK we're charged for a new seat base!

is a new seat base exspensive? It would mostlikely happen again probably anyways unless they modified it.
