W202 wheel upgrade

I've recently bought a standard 97' w202 2.0lt esprit model.
I want to upgrade from the standard 15 steel wheels to any suitable alloys, 16 inch 17 inch...I don't really care.
What is the easiest size to look out for without too much hassle? ie straight swap
Putting on spacers if needed isn't an issue.
Any info would be appreciated

Just to put in my two-penn'orth, I wouldn't necessarily consider an increased size to be an upgrade.

Our W202 runs beautifully on the standard 15" alloys. Increasing the wheel size to 16s or 17s will spoil the ride and make the car slower and thirstier.

There are plenty of OEM 15" alloys for sale out there.
