I’ve done a bit of a search and can’t find anything definitive.

The 2001 C320 I picked up has the standard Audio 10 CD player. No CD changer or aux in.

I know that it’s not possible to add Aux in on the Pre-facelift Audio 10 units (not without soldering etc).

Does anyone know if the Audio 30 APS units have Aux in capability?

Or are the only options Comand 2.0 or an FM transmitter?

Just seeing if there are any easy options to be able to listen to music from our phones instead of relying on the radio (first world problems I know!)

It is quite a task to fit Comand 2, ipod interface and Bluetooth to cars that don't have it. Mine now has the lot because I had Comand and phone wiring to start with. Careful shopping around got me a Bluetooth dongle for£60 and about the same for an iPod module but in your position I would have bought an aftermarket all in one for around £200 that simply does the lot.

Thanks Tron,

I wasn’t looking for Bluetooth handsfree, just the ability for some form of Aux input.

I actually picked up a Comand 2.0 unit from a really helpful forum member today and I installed it in under 30 mins with a 3rd party 3.5mm aux cable. Love the fact it keeps it all looking original. Although I didn’t add any hands free functionality, I seem to recall that’s a lot more involved!

Our last W203 had factory fit command with CD changed and the Nokia handsfree system which I added a Viseoo Bluetooth adaptor to (I imagine that’s what you have?).

Cheers!

No, I have the Mercedes puck in the console for phone. The aux input to the Comand is easy. Buy a lead from eBay and the streaming widget is about a tenner.

Yep this is pretty much what I’ve done, 3.5mm jack Aux in. Will try it with a Bluetooth streaming box that I’ve just picked up.
