Celtic Tuning cover the whole country and seem, in my research anyway, to offer the best performance improvements.

Is a remap diffferent to having the car chipped ?

The gains look quite impressive on that website. Does this mean that if they were to remap my CLK320 (W209) they could increase it by more than 13bhp (which is what most of the chipping websites claim)

Simon at CCCtech does Mercedes and has worked on my car before. A Remap and chipping achieve the same thing but your car will just need remapping (I believe).

I understand that they can remap well over the norm for most cars. You are best off giving them a ring. Speak to Graham, he does the map design himself. they use their own maps custom designed in-house. They really do seem to know what they are talking about.

Torquing BHP will be able to do it, though the difference will be extremely subtle. They had offered a discount to MBClub members but no-one seemed interested.
