Just after a confirmation really.
Im fitting an aftermarket radio to my pre facelift W203 and on the original ISO block there only seems to be a switched live (which drops out a couple of mins after the ignition key is removed)
Is this correct?
Most aftermarket radios have a permanent live and a switched live (so the station memory and other settings are kept)
I have no problem running a new permanent live back to the battery (in fact Id prefer to so the head unit gets a nice clean supply and a decent gauge of cable)
Just wondered if its the same on everyone elses?
Ta.
