W204 C Class front bumper help

3rd week into my C Class ownership and I've got my first problem (caused by me :-( ), so if anyone has got any advice then I'm all ears.

I caught the front bumper on my C Class Sport on a high kerb whilst parking at the Trafford Centre on the weekend. When I reversed out of the parking space I caught the bumper on the kerb and the bumper alignment on the drivers side is slightly out where the bumper meets the wing (the passengers side alignment is fine).

Is there anyway I can repair this, such as undoing the bumper and making sure the wing and bumper are properly lined up.

The car is going back to the dealer soon- the drivers side black plastic strip on the roof is being replacement under warranty and the salesperson who I bought the car from said they'll take a look at the bumper. I hope they don't turn around and say you need a new wing and bumper!!!

I would suspect it's probably just pulled out of a clip somewhere, have you tried pushing it back in. Plastic bumpers are fairly flexible so I doubt if it's a replacement job.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried pushing it back in, but the bumper just pops back out- it looks like I might have undo the wheel arch liner, loosen the bumper/wing then realign the bumper and wing.

I'll let the dealer sort it out- tbh its not that bad, its just annoying when you damage your pride and joy!

I've had a good look at the bumper and its all scratched underneath, so its off to the paintshop- bumper to have the scratches filled in and the whole bumper is to be resprayed.
